Spring was in the air this last week. I say was as we've been plunged
back into winter today. It's snowed heavily all day. The days have been getting
longer and the afternoons have been really sunny, even if it did snow briefly, last
weekend aswell. There were lots of tasty wild plants emerging;
daisies
| dandelions |
| yarrow |
| violet leaves | | |
red dead nettle
There were also some lovely looking fruit/berries still hanging on since the autumn;
| hawthorn | | | |
rosehips
I hope they are perservering under the snow.....

It's still feeling like spring around here too. Can't believe your yarrow is already flowering!
ReplyDeleteHi Amber, yes I was surprised too! It was very tiny though.
DeleteStarting to see little signs of springs arrival here too, WD. Lovely photos! xxx
